Angela Pope (she/her)
BKin, MScPT
(Physiotherapist)
Ang is a physiotherapist who completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at Memorial University in Newfoundland. She then completed her Masters of Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia.
Since graduating, Ang has worked in a variety of settings including paediatrics, orthopaedics, acute care, and cardiorespiratory rehab.
Ang grew up in Newfoundland, where she enjoyed playing sports and spending time outdoors on the East Coast Trail. Ang has been passionate about woman’s health since graduating high school, after experiencing first-hand some of the barriers that women face when it comes to participating in physical activity. Ang went on to research these barriers in university and to pursue continuing education on pelvic health for all genders.
Ang’s approach to physiotherapy is hands-on and exercise based - with an emphasis on movement that is ENJOYED. Through one-on-one discussion, manual therapy, exercise programming, and tools such as cupping, Ang believes in creating personalized treatment programs that fit patients' lifestyles.
With a broad range of experience, Ang hopes to create a safe space for patients of all ages, genders, ethnicities, sizes, and backgrounds to achieve their physiotherapy goals.
In Ang’s spare time, you can find her on a run, playing music, climbing at the bouldering gym, or on a hike with her dog, Sunny.
